The best time to experience Winter Spiti is during the winter season, from December to February, when the valley is covered in a blanket of snow, and the landscape is transformed into a winter wonderland. The winter season offers a unique opportunity to witness the frozen Spiti River, Pin River, Snow Leopard and the majestic snow-capped peaks in their full glory.

How to Reach Spiti?

Spiti is accessible by road, and the nearest airport and railway station are located in Chandigarh, which is approximately 522 km away. You can take a bus or hire a taxi from Chandigarh to reach Winter Spiti, which is located in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.

Itinerary

Good Morning Fellas! Your magical journey ends with mesmerizing views of Snow Capped Mountains of Himalayas.
Reach Shimla in the morning from Delhi by Volvo.
Start your journey from Shimla towards Kalpa - Reckong Peo.
Pass through the Narkanda, Kinnaur Valley Portal, Karcham Dam.
Enjoy The Thrilling Ride Through Rocky Hills.
Reach Kalpa by evening.
Experience Starry night along Picturesque Kinner Kailash Range and enjoy Bonfire with Music and Dinner.
Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Breakfast, Dinner

Start your day with a refreshing morning tea. Head towards the Suicide Point at Roghi.
Return to the hotel and charge your appetite with a delicious breakfast at the dining area. After breakfast, proceed towards Tabo to get Spitified.
We are on the 2nd Day of Trip and We will be hitting Spiti right away.
Visit Nako village and Spend some time near Nako Lake. Cross the Ka loops at Nako. Enter Spiti valley through Sumdo Border.
Afterward experience the India's Only Natural Mummy at "Giu Mummy Monastery" en route to Tabo.
Gue Village is the nearest village to the China Border. You can see Indian Bunkers over the Mountains while standing at Gue Village..
Reach Tabo by evening. Check-in at the Mud House.
Dinner & overnight stay at Tabo.

Wake up early in the morning. Today after a healthy breakfast check out from the Mud house/camps and Visit Spiti’s Oldest Tabo Monastery.
Later start your journey towards Magical World in Spiti i.e. Dhankar Village
Visit Dhankar Monastery which offers a spectacular view of the confluence of Spiti and Pin river.
Afterwards, enjoy the scenic drive to Kaza. Reach Kaza by evening. & Check-In at Mud House (Home Stay)
Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.
Breakfast and Dinner

Wake up early morning in the mountains and have a lip-smacking breakfast.
After having the breakfast, head for Spiti Valley divine sightseeing.
Visit the most scenic monastery of Spiti Valley - The Key Monastery.
Further, drive to the highest suspension bridge in Asia - The Chicham Bridge.
Visit Langza, Hikkim, Komic Village While Coming Back to Kaza.
Come back to Kaza by evening.
Visit the market and buy souvenirs for the loved ones.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Kaza.

Wake Up Early Morning, Get Ready For Return Journey.
After having breakfast and some leisure, check-out of the homestay.
Take a pitstop at Khab Sangam for some pictures.
Reach hotel by evening. Complete the Check-In Formalities.
Enjoy Last Night Stay with Music & Bonfire.

Enjoy the scenic drive witnessing Fagu valley, Theog, etc.
Reach Shimla by afternoon

Reach Delhi by Morning. Your Trip Ends Here with Amazing Memories. Maza aa Gaya!!!
Your Spiti Expedition ends here but no worries, we have a lot of adventure lined up for the whole year.

Exclusions

  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.
  • Any kind of food or beverage that is not included in the package like alcoholic drinks, mineral water, meals/refreshments/lunches on the highway.
  • Any personal expenses like a tip to the drivers, entry to monuments/monasteries, camera/video , camera charges, laundry, telephone bills, tips, etc
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)

Trip Rules

Please Mind your time as this is a group trip.
This trip requires a minimum of 6 Pax.
Children below 6 years complimentary.
Carry Only Backpack.
Welcome Party at Hotel/Campsite at Kalpa.
Accommodation at Hotel/Homestay on Double/Triple Sharing.
Breakfast served by 7 to 8 Am. To cover all sights, be ready by breakfast time.
Keep your power banks charged.
Bonfire will be arranged at Night for a few hours.
While trekking, keep 1-2 Lt Water with you.
During Winters, Toilet pipes get choked, use of Common Dry toilets is mandatory.
Mud House is a structure with clay walls & roof having all basic facilities with local culture.
Camps will be provided only in Summers.
Short stopover will be given during travel for fresh up & Lunch.
Follow the instructions of the Trip Leader. Delays are not entertained.
Safety of Guests is our First Priority, please cooperate with trip staff.
Do not panic in case of any vehicle breakdown. We have support teams everywhere in Spiti.
In case of any health issue, immediately inform your trip leader or motorist.

Booking Confirmation Policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
